Additionally, Studeo equips learners with pedagogical strategies for efficient study habits, stress management, and exam preparation, fostering holistic academic success.

Problems

The current design of the web platform is characterized by outdated aesthetics and an overwhelming amount of elements. Additionally, it suffers from usability issues, making navigation and interaction inconvenient for users. Moreover, the platform’s sales performance is low, failing to effectively convert visitors into customers.

About Privio

Privio is an app that allows companies to share movies privately and securely with their potential buyers. In other words, they offer a Private Preview, hence the name Privio. All the content displayed in the app is copy-protected.

Wireframes

Initially, our team’s main task was to adapt the existing desktop application for mobile. However, as the application was pretty unorganized, we started the project with user research to understand how to fix some of the current issues for the mobile app.

For the UX, we used wireframes to adapt the desktop version for mobile. Our main goal was to keep the application’s logic simple and intuitive so that it only took a couple of steps to register and log in.

When it came to the UI, we took the primary colors of the desktop application but corrected them to add more harmony. We made the same adjustments for the typography and icons, ending up with a polished and pleasant UI.

Dashboard

The dashboard is the main screen where users can manage their video uploads and add new videos. The videos are added from the button in the burger menu. These two features are intentionally made discrete, as the main focus of the application is to share a small amount of valuable video material.

Videos

In addition to sharing the videos, we also allowed the users to see the statistics of the video views, linked to IP addresses. Moreover, we also allowed them to create passwords for specific videos and add watermarks when needed.

Information

Finally, we added the information section to add important information regarding the video like duration, category, or language. It works really fast and easy: the user chooses the video, adds the statistics and description, and sends it to the potential buyer!

A new generation of clinicians

Skild was founded to address the challenges many clinicians face after completing their training in aesthetic medicine.

Their founders recognised that the majority of clinicians do not practice in their chosen field due to fear, inadequate support and a lack of confidence needed to deliver exceptional personal experiences.

Skild recognise the limitations of one and two day training courses and has created a perfect blend of theory, practice and long term support for delegates.

To emphasise the content of the website, we created a modern minimalist design. This puts the user experience first, allowing ease of navigation and course booking.

Animated geometric figures accentuate the most important details and draw users’ attention to them.

Course booking

We constructed the site using WordPress with WooCommerce, as this gave us the flexibility to achieve our bespoke design.

We created a booking form using WooCommerce’s booking plugin. This allowed us to create a custom product template on the front end while keeping a familiar interface on the backend, allowing clinicians to manage their courses smoothly.

The separation between layers is rather prominent, making navigation easy. Each section gradually rises from the bottom to lay atop its predecessor. And this parallax approach is exactly what gives the website its unique feel. Rising Ballers was featured in “Top 10 Elementor Sites of August 2021”.

For the brand guidelines, we used bold and contemporary colours to support the brands’ message, with the palette keeping everything cohesive across all applications.

As part of the guidelines, we created a guide to maintain the integrity of the logo elements. This ensures that the logo is always used correctly, with correct spacing and size, in any future design/advertising use.

Chosen by creatives at Universal Music Group, WIRED, and Pentagram, Type Department is the independent marketplace of type-focused creative media company TYPE01.

Designers and people from all ends of the creative industry around the world can host their typefaces and sell to the public.

Beautifully distinctive

With unique typefaces created by the industry’s global network of creatives and foundries, it was important for us to create a design that supports their work.

We created a clear structure and hierachy, enabling visitors to easily find what they need despite the immense level of content from dozens of sellers.

The development solution

Having previously existed as a Shopify website, Type Department needed us to develop a seamless multi-vendor solution for their ecommerce site. 

WordPress as the CMS with WooCommerce was the clear option, with sellers able to create their own accounts and manage their own products.

WordPress also offered the flexibility to include font samplers across the site, allowing visitors to type anything on the product pages to preview the typeface before purchase.
